Looks like Danny Kiranos, who you might know better as Amigo The Devil, is bringing his solo show to town. If you fancy a bit of a listen to songs that swing from the deeply tragic to surprisingly comedic, all delivered with a healthy dose of unvarnished honesty, then this might be right up your alley. His songs are said to take cues from folks like Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits, with a dash of Chavela Vargas's ruthlessness thrown in for good measure, but don't expect anything too polished. He's more about the raw truth than a perfect sheen, basically all heart with a touch of delightful chaos.

He'll be playing at the Royal Oak Hotel on Friday, August 22, 2025, starting around 9:00 PM. Tickets are 59 dollars and 90 cents if you're keen to catch him.
