Artist Michele Beevors is hosting a free floor talk on her Anatomy Lessons exhibition at the Museum at Inveresk, where she unveils the oddly captivating world of hand-knitted animal skeletons. Think life-sized giraffes and frogs pieced together from thousands of yarn stitches, serving as gentle nudges about life, loss, extinction, and our tangled ties to nature. Delicate yet massive, these creations make you wonder how something so soft can hit so hard on the heavy stuff.

She will chat about the project's quirky origins, the oddly meditative grind of knitting bones, and her knack for weaving art, science, and storytelling. It is on Saturday 20 December 2025 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Queen Victoria Museum at Inveresk, 2 Invermay Road, Invermay. Free entry, just register on Eventbrite.
