Come join the artistic escapades of Melinda Hill as she guides you through crafting your very own 3D needle felted thylacine. This two-day workshop is not just about poking wool with a needle—it's an opportunity to channel your inner artist while drawing inspiration from the hidden thylacines featured in Michael McWilliams' exhibition, Gentle Protagonist. Who knew playing with fluff could be such a revelation?

You'll be able to show off your creation while also working on your fine motor skills, which we hear are quite handy for... you know, opening jars and such in everyday life. The workshop will take place at the Queen Victoria Art Gallery, so not only will you get to unleash your creativity, but you'll also be surrounded by art that inspires. Just remember to bring your sense of humour and perhaps a snack or two—because nothing enhances creativity like a good biscuit.
