Grab your gardening gloves and join the Friends of Cambridge Street Reserve for a morning of bushland beautification on the first Saturday of the month from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. We'll be rolling up our sleeves to give the reserve a little TLC, battling the mighty weeds that dare to invade our slice of nature. You might just find a treasure trove of splendid native flowers putting on a show in spring and early summer, trying to outshine each other. Spoiler alert: they need our help to do it.

The Cambridge Street Reserve is in decent shape, but those pesky weeds are like that one cousin at family gatherings who overstays their welcome. Join us for a bit of fresh air, a sense of community spirit, and a chance to say you did something good today. Plus, it's free—just bring your enthusiasm and maybe a snack for when we take a break. So, mark your calendars for Saturday, 7 December 2024, and head over to 73 Brougham Street West in Launceston. We can't wait to see you and tackle some bushland antics together.
