Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dig in at the Cambridge Street Reserve Working Bee on June 7, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. We're calling all bushland enthusiasts and plant aficionados to join the Friends of Cambridge Street Reserve for a bit of good old-fashioned gardening. This natural wonderland is bursting with a riot of colourful native flowers come spring and early summer, but alas, the weeds have decided to crash the party. So, if you've ever wanted to play hero in your community, now's your chance to kick those pesky weeds to the curb.

The gathering will take place at 73 Brougham Street in West Launceston, just a hop away from the iconic Water Towers. No need to worry about your gardening skills; we welcome all levels of expertise. Plus, it's free—so bring your enthusiasm, a pair of gloves, and maybe a hat to shield yourself from the sun while you channel your inner eco-warrior. Come help us give this reserve the TLC it deserves while making new friends along the way.
