Every hall has a yarn to spin, and Damian Callinan is the bloke perfectly happy to linger by the door with a cuppa, listening in. Youd be hard pressed to find a regional bakery in Australia without one of his show posters blu-tacked to the window, probably right next to the lamingtons. In Hall Stories, he rolls out his storytelling, stand-up and character tricks to unpack his own touring mishaps and poke fun at the odd traditions, quirks and locals haunting Aussie halls and meeting spots.
