Come along to the Museum at Inveresk for a hands-on look at bugs, starting with a wander through the BUGS exhibition. You'll get the lowdown on their squishy bodies, cosy habitats, and all those weird traits that make these tiny terrors the secret MVPs of the natural world, without any actual crawling involved.

After that, raid the craft supplies to whip up your own pet bug to lug home, perfect for kids aged 5 to 12 who need a parent to keep the glue from going everywhere. Tickets run $6 per person.
