Come along to the BUGS exhibition at the Queen Victoria Museum at Inveresk and poke around the weird bodies, habitats and habits of those tiny critters that keep the world spinning without asking for credit. After that, raid the craft supplies to whip up your own pet bug to lug home, because who needs a goldfish when you can have something that thrives on scraps and doesnt demand midnight snacks.

Its geared towards kids aged five to twelve, though mums and dads need to stick around. Tickets run to six bucks per person. Happens on Tuesday 28 April 2026 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at 2 Invermay Road Invermay.
