Come craft some colourful pom-pom bugs that are way cuter than the real deal in our new BUGS exhibition. Kick off by wandering through the creepy crawlies on display, then roll up your sleeves to design and build your own fluffy bug buddy. Throw on some antennae, spots or googly eyes to give it a quirky personality, and take the little monster home as a harmless reminder of nature's busybodies.

Best for kids aged 5 to 12, with a parent tagging along to keep things from getting too chaotic. It costs $7.51 per person. Bookings are a must for everyone, and children need a fee-paying adult with them. On Tuesday 20 January 2026 from 10:30am to 11:30am at Queen Victoria Museum at Inveresk, 2 Invermay Road, Invermay, 7248 Australia.
