Holiday Program: Printed Patterns from Nature

Kids aged eight to twelve can get hands on with nature inspired printing at this holiday workshop at the Queen Victoria Art Gallery in Royal Parks Launceston. Start by wandering through the Traces exhibition to eyeball Chris Bells environmental photos for a bit of inspo then duck into the Creativity Centre to muck around with leaves twigs and whatever else from the great outdoors to make your own patterns. Parents have to tag along probably to stop the chaos from spilling onto the streets.

Its on Thursday 8 January 2026 with sessions from 10:30am to noon and 1:30pm to 3pm at 2 Wellington Street Launceston 7250. Entry is a quirky seven dollars and fifty one cents so bring exact change or just embrace the small change hunt.
