Join us for an afternoon of science and crafting at the Museum in Inveresk, where we'll embark on a quest to unravel the mysteries of winter. Ever wondered why the seasons change and what makes Tassie winters feel like they're a chilly stroll in Narnia? We'll kick things off with a captivating presentation in the Planetarium that might just answer that burning question while leaving you in awe of the celestial shenanigans happening above us.
After we've soaked up some cosmic knowledge, we'll head over to the Learning Centre for some crafty adventures. Get ready to unleash your inner artist as we whip up cloud identifiers, which you can proudly take home to impress your friends, or perhaps just confuse your pets. This workshop is ideal for kids aged 8 to 12, but parents are highly encouraged to tag along for moral support and to help with the messy bits. It'll be an afternoon filled with science, creativity, and maybe a sprinkle of chaos, all for just $7.51.
