Asher Cooper from Tool Skool is running a hands-on woodworking workshop where kids aged seven to twelve can safely mess about with measuring, sawing, gluing, nailing and sanding. Under his watchful eye, they will build their own wooden toy to take home, while picking up a few design tricks and construction knowhow that might spark dreams of becoming an architect, builder or sculptor, or just inspire more backyard projects.

Tickets are six dollars per person with bookings required for everyone, and children must come with an adult. It is on Thursday 23 April 2026 from 10.15am to 11.45am at Queen Victoria Museum at Inveresk, 2 Invermay Road, Invermay 7248 Australia.
