The Launceston Blues Club is apparently putting on a bit of a do at the Royal Oak Hotel on Saturday 2 August 2025, kicking off around 7:00PM. It seems to be in aid of International Blues Day. Pete Cornelius and Richard Steele are scheduled to play, bringing their full band along for a journey through the blues, from its roots to whatever blues is doing these days. Jacob Boote and the Swamp Owls are also on the bill, warming up the crowd with their particular brand of blues rock.

If you are keen to check it out, tickets will set you back 23 dollars and 47 cents. The Royal Oak is located at 14 Brisbane Street, Launceston, Tasmania, for those who might need directions. There will likely be some drinks available too, if you are into that sort of thing.
