If youre looking for a quick musical escape during your lunch break in Launceston, soprano Jacqueline Ward and pianist Karen Smithies are putting on a compact concert at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Wednesday 5 November 2025, starting at 1:05 PM. Its one of those bite sized affairs featuring tunes from Handel, Benjamin Britten, Dominick Argento, and a few others, perfect for squeezing in some culture without skipping your sandwich entirely. The venue is at 34 Cameron Street, right in the heart of town.

Tickets are straightforward: ten bucks if you grab them ahead or if youre a friend of the series, or fifteen at the door. No fuss, just a chance to hear some lovely voices and keys while the rest of the world buzzes by outside.
