Come on down for some Switch gaming fun at the library, where we'll swap epic tales of our gaming adventures and maybe even some snacks. If you're the kind of person who suspects their Switch has developed a social life of its own, this is your chance to join forces with fellow gamers aged 8 to 12 and dive into your favourite titles.

Whether you're building your latest masterpiece in Minecraft, battling foes in Pokémon, or chasing the elusive finish line in Super Mario, there's something for everyone. Bring your own Switch and games if you've got them, but fear not if you're less equipped—we've got consoles, games, and controllers for you to borrow. Not really into video games? We also have plenty of non-digital distractions, like Lego, puzzles, card games, and even some calming fidget toys for when you need a breather. Just remember to book your spot, as couch potatoes are welcome, but we don't want a crowd of them showing up unexpectedly.

When are we doing this? Mark your calendar for Saturday, 9 November 2024, and Saturday, 23 November 2024, both from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Catch us at the Launceston Library at 71 Civic Square, where every good gamer knows to assemble.
