Come hear QVMAG astronomers Chris and Johnny spin yarns about the universe at the Launceston Planetarium's Beyond the Dome talk. They will wander from earthly tides to the quirks of light and time, scaling up to the cosmos's sprawling architecture, while pondering extraterrestrial neighbours and swatting away the internet's wilder conspiracy cobwebs, like those flat-Earth favourites.

Each instalment in this live series picks a new celestial puzzle to unpack. Tickets run $10.67 for adults and $7.51 for children. It is on Thursday 26 March 2026 from 2:30pm to 3:15pm at the Queen Victoria Museum at Inveresk, 2 Invermay Road, Invermay 7248 Australia.
