Ever wondered what a black hole really is? Picture this: a spot in space so powerful that not even light can manage to escape its grasp. Many brilliant minds, including Einstein, tossed this idea around long before we even confirmed they were real. Spoiler alert: there's a massive one chilling at the centre of our Milky Way galaxy, just minding its own business.

Join us for a mind-bending program brought to you by the Melbourne Planetarium, where we'll dive into the strange world of black holes. We'll explore how these cosmic vacuums come to be, and how they play games with space and time—yes, it's as weird as it sounds. We'll even entertain the thought of what would happen if you decided to get a little too close to one. Hint: it's not going to end well for you. To cap it all off, there's a live tour of the night sky after the show, so bring your sense of wonder and perhaps leave your travel plans to the stars.
