Get ready to blast off to a cosmic celebration as the Launceston Planetarium gears up for the show Capcom Go! This event is part of a big party marking the golden anniversary of the first humans taking a stroll on the Moon. Remember those brave souls, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, who cheekily took their steps on July 21, 1969? Well, now you can relive the excitement of that historic moment from the comfort of your seat.

The show takes you on a journey back to the early 1960s, when NASA decided to dabble in some human spaceflight. Spoiler alert: it didn't all go smoothly at first. They didn't just wake up one day and think, "Let's land on the Moon." Oh no, there were plenty of trials, errors, and probably a few coffee breaks before they got the hang of it and were ready to send some astronauts soaring towards the lunar surface.
