In celebration of the golden anniversary of humans taking a stroll on the Moon, the Launceston Planetarium is rolling out the cosmic carpet for Capcom Go. This stellar show dives into the origins of NASA's human spaceflight program, starting with the adventurous leap of the first American into space back in the groovy 1960s. Watch as they gained their space legs and gradually geared up for that epic moment in July 1969 when they decided it would be a fantastic idea to land on the Moon and leave some footprints for future generations to admire.

Now, what's with the quirky name Capcom Go, you ask? Well, it's a nod to the legend known as the Capsule Communicator or Capcom for short.
