The Launceston Planetarium is putting on Capturing the Cosmos, where astronomers are out there sizing up the universe like kids in a cosmic candy store. Spotting all the stars and galaxies is fun enough, but its just the appetizer, really.

The main course is stitching those bits together to unravel the universes big secrets, all narrated by Geoffrey Rush, that Oscar bloke with the golden voice. They filmed it under Australias wide open outback skies, so expect some fresh astronomy tales and maybe a few head scratching questions about what else is lurking out there in the cosmos.
