Ever heard of light pollution. Sounds daft, right. Like how can light, that cheery thing keeping us from bumping into furniture, be a pollutant. Turns out we have spent centuries treating streetlights and porch bulbs as the norm after dark, when really they are gatecrashing a party that has been going on for millions of years. Plants, critters, and even our own sleepy selves are wired for that daily sunrise sunset shuffle.
