The Launceston Planetarium is screening Dark, a fulldome flick that dives into dark matter, that cheeky 80 percent of the universes mass thats gone AWOL. Its basically astrophysicists biggest headache right now, and cracking it might finally clue us in on why the cosmos looks the way it does, how it kicked off, and what its been up to over those billions of years of deep time, where our little lives are just a quick blip.

Swing by the Queen Victoria Museum at Inveresk on Sunday 21 December 2025 from 1.30 pm to 2.15 pm, at 2 Invermay Road in Invermay. Tickets are 10.67 bucks for adults and 7.51 for kids, nothing too wallet wrecking for a cosmic ponder.
