The Launceston Planetarium is screening From Earth to the Universe again, taking you from ancient stargazers scratching their heads at the night sky to modern boffins peering through mega-telescopes. Humans have been spinning yarns about the cosmos since campfires were a thing, turning twinkly lights into myths and monsters, all while trying to figure out where we fit in this massive puzzle. Its a gentle nudge through that history, without the popcorn.

Swing by the Queen Victoria Museum at Inveresk on Sunday 28 December 2025 from 1.30pm to 2.15pm, at 2 Invermay Road Invermay 7248. Tickets are adult 10.67 dollars child 7.51 dollars.
