The night sky has had us humans hooked since day one, spinning campfire tales and ancient myths around its pretty yet baffling glow. Its probably our species oldest collective head-scratcher, that itch to puzzle out the universe and where we tiny specs fit in. Funny how we spent ages gazing up in awe, but only lately, with proper gear, have we started nailing down our cosmic postcode.

This planetarium session walks you through the whole starry saga, from the brainy guesses of ancient Greek stargazers to the monster telescopes doing the heavy lifting today. Its called From Earth to the Universe, a laid-back dive into how we got from myth-making to mapping the heavens.
