Set sail across the biggest splash of water on the planet with Moko, a fearless teen on a quest to track the starry routes of her ancestors as they cruise the Pacific back to Aotearoa New Zealand. In her adventure, she leaps through time periods and cultures, experiencing life aboard the waka hourua—those fantastic M?ori sailing canoes—and even hopping on the ships captained by the likes of Lt. James Cook and the Dutch explorer Abel Tasman. It's like a cultural road trip, but on water and with a bit of time travel thrown in.

Moko gets to peek into Earth from space, hang out with those ancient navigators, soak up their traditions, and figure out their navigational tricks—all while connecting it to the snazzy space knowledge we have now. So, come along for an afternoon of sailing through stories, science, and a fair bit of fun.
