At the Launceston Planetarium, kids whip up a cardboard rocket that turns out to be a portal to the Solar System, because apparently duct tape and imagination beat actual fuel. Their library astronomy book springs to life mid-flight, dishing out facts on all the planets they zip past, proving you dont need a fancy spaceship when youve got glue and curiosity.

Every show wraps with a live peek at the nights sky, just to ground everyone back on Earth. Tickets are adult at $10.67 and child at $7.51. Its on Monday, 12 January 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Queen Victoria Museum at Inveresk, 2 Invermay Road, Invermay, 7248, Australia.
