Get ready to bask in the glow of our very own star, the Sun – the one celestial body we can actually squint at without damaging our retinas (please don't try that with other stars). "The Sun: Our Living Star" offers a treasure trove of knowledge about our fiery friend, wrapped up in eye-popping visuals. You'll get to see just how the Sun churns out energy like it's on some cosmic treadmill, all while revealing its secrets in various wavelengths of light, because, why not?

This stellar show comes straight from the brainiacs at the European Southern Observatory, making its debut during a fancy shindig in France back in 2018. Talk about a world traveller. So if you're keen to learn what makes our Sun tick—without the risk of sunburn—join us at the Queen Victoria Museum in Invermay on 13 February 2025. Just make sure to bring your curiosity, because this presentation is hotter than a summer day.
