When you shut your eyes and picture Earth, its probably that serene blue orb drifting in the void. Turns out, that classic snapshot has only been around for about 50 years, since we first snuck a proper peek from space.

Satellites have since turned the tables, spying on our planet through crystal lenses and dishing out data in wild colours and patterns we never expected. This planetarium session chats through how that tech flipped our view of home from a sleepy blue marble to a lively, shape-shifting ecosystem thats always on the move.
