We Are Stars is a cheeky little fulldome show whipped up by the clever folks at NSC Creative in the UK, the same masterminds behind the crowd-pleaser We Are Aliens. This cosmic caper takes a hilarious peek at how stars go about their business of burning hot and creating the elements we all know and love. Spoiler alert: a good chunk of what makes up our bodies and the stuff we use daily has been cooked up deep inside those fiery celestial bodies. Who knew that our very existence had such a stellar connection?

And that's not all; We Are Stars is packed with a stash of intriguing tidbits about the twinkly spheres above us. After soaking in the starry wisdom, you'll be treated to a live tour of the current night sky, so no need for a telescope, just your good self and a bit of stargazing magic. It's happening on Thursday, 12 December 2024, from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM over at the Queen Victoria Museum in Invermay. Prices are pretty chill too: adults can join the fun for just $9.62 and kids for $7.51.
