Get ready for a Friday night adventure as the Launceston Ukulele Jamboree rolls into action. It all kicks off with some musical fun on the shuttle bus that'll whisk you away from the CBD to St Ailbes Hall, which is only a hop and a skip (and about six blocks) away. By the time you arrive, you'll be well-prepped to take on a historic venue that has seen more concerts and dances than most of us have had hot dinners.

Once you shake off your bus legs in a place steeped in history, you can settle into your table seat—or maybe stand and sway a bit—because there's plenty of room for some traditional Scottish dancing. And when you're done with the reels and jigs, Graeme and his trusty band, The Stovies, will bring you tunes steeped in Celtic charm and a dash of Australiana. Green Fieldz will send the night off with a flourish of fiddles that'll have you wanting to join in, so get those vocal cords warmed up and ready to belt it out.
