Get ready to strum away your Friday blues at the Launceston Ukulele Jamboree, where the fabulous Sally Carter, Cathy Welsford, and the quirky Wild Women of Anywhere Beach will lead you through a Ukulele Ensemble Institute. We're talking five hours of ukulele joy, so warm up those fingers and grab a seat, unless you want to play the entire day standing up, which we won't judge.

Now, this isn't a beginner's excursion to ukulele land. If you can't tell a G chord from a C chord, you might want to stick to solo practice for now. You'll need to have a good grip on easy TAB reading, because the day will not only tickle your fancy but also give seasoned players a run for their money. Don't forget to bring both a High G and Low G ukulele—because why have just one when you can double your chances of sounding exceptional? All music will be handed out for you to keep, much like a free meal, but less messy. The whole thing will set you back a wholesome $75. Mark the calendar for Friday, March 21, 2025, at 9:30 AM and make your way down to the Pilgrim Uniting Church Hall, where the only thing more vibrant than the harmonies will be the ukuleles themselves.
