Pop into the Queen Victoria Museum at Inveresk for on Wednesday 14 January 2026 from 10:30am to midday. Its a free school holiday drop-in where you can stroll through the BUGS exhibition to eyeball some insects for ideas, then settle into the Learning Centre to cobble together your own sculpture from recycled odds and ends. Think buggy art you can lug home, solo style or roping in other crafters for a giant creepy crawly collaboration.

All the materials are there waiting, so just drag along your imagination, no bookings needed. Find it at 2 Invermay Road, Invermay, 7248, and let the trash-to-treasure bug bite.
