Pop into the Museum at Inveresk for a free school holiday craft session and fiddle around with recycled materials to make a collage or some quirky creation. Wander the museum grounds and peek at the current exhibitions for a spark of inspiration, then duck into the Learning Centre to cobble together your own artwork from scraps of paper and recycled bits to lug home.

Work solo on your masterpiece or rope in fellow crafters for a bigger, messier effort. All the gear is sorted, so just haul along your imagination. QVMAGs Make It Place is a laidback family dropin with no bookings needed, so turn up on the day and give it a crack from 1030 am to noon.
