Melissa Wimmers School of Theatrical Dance is putting on their yearly dance bash, featuring more than 200 local kids and grown-ups strutting their stuff. Youll see everything from the snappy rhythms of tap that might just make your feet twitch, to the bouncy chaos of jazz and hip-hop, the poised elegance of ballet where nobody trips hopefully, and the heartfelt tales told through song and dance, plus the fluid moves of lyrical and contemporary that always seem a bit too poetic for the rest of us.

Kick back for an afternoon show aimed at the little ones starting at 2pm, or catch the evening version for the adults at 7:30pm, both on Saturday 29 November 2025 at the Princess Theatre on 57 Brisbane Street in Launceston. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for kids under 16, so its a low-key way to soak up some community talent without breaking the bank.
