Into that time frame walks Rosie, a twenty two year old make up artist from the David Jones counter, armed with brushes, smokescreen calm and a very particular brief. Sheehan's script is sharp and quietly funny, skirting farce while asking why beauty therapy is so often treated as fluff. The play looks at how make up and fashion shape the way we see women in power, and wonders, with a wink, whether a stroke of mascara can alter a public image as much as a speech can alter a policy debate
