The Launceston Youth Theatre Ensemble's Queechy Senior company are presenting '' by Daniel O'Donnell. It is one of those rather clever plays that offers a murder mystery comedy, which also happens to be a comedy about the somewhat torturous process of writing a murder mystery.

The story revolves around Agatha Crispy, a mystery playwright of some renown who is now finding that her mind is not quite as sharp as it once was. As she attempts to pen her newest and likely final manuscript, her characters, such as Miss Maple and Inspector Dryfus, spring to life on stage. However, their stage careers are rather short lived, often concluding abruptly when Agatha decides to crumple up the page they were written on. Those who enjoy a good classic whodunnit or a chuckle at creative struggles might find this particular spoof rather entertaining.
