If youre looking for a quick musical escape that wont break the bank, this Lunchbox Concert series has you covered with something short and sweet, like a gig that fits neatly into your midday break. Its all about keeping things bite sized, so you can munch on your sanger while soaking in the tunes without committing your whole afternoon.

Van Diemens Band is joining forces with Melbournes Astra Ensemble to play Japanese composer Mamoru Fujiedas big work, Patterns of Plants. Tickets are ten bucks if you grab them ahead or if youre a mate of the venue, or fifteen at the door. It kicks off on Wednesday 26 November 2025 at 1:05pm, right at the Princess Theatre on 57 Brisbane Street in Launceston, Tasmania.
