Jacq Ellem and a bunch of local podcasters are dropping by Launceston Library to chat about how Tasmanians turn our island quirks into podcast episodes. Its during Tasmania Reads week, so if youve ever wondered about firing up your own mic or hitching a ride on someone elses show, this is your low-key chance to eavesdrop.

Theyll break down the whole shebang of dreaming up local stories, hitting record, and shoving them out into the world. Everyone reckons theyve got a tale worth telling anyway, and podcasts are basically the slacker alternative to scribbling it all down in a diary that no one reads.
