Chances are your singing voice isnt destined for the charts or the shower solo circuit, but thats perfectly fine because Pub Choir Average at Best is all about embracing that middle ground. Now in its eighth year this laidback gathering turns a pub into a massive singalong where everyone from shower belters to tone-deaf enthusiasts gets a go. Its run by Astrid the selfproclaimed human rubber band who uses her sharp wit to stretch your vocal limits without snapping them entirely.

Picture this an off-the-cuff comedy lesson in music where youre the star doing your best not to muck it up. Astrid breaks down one song into three part harmony and guides the room through it step by step with enough laughs to drown out any wobbles. All tickets for those 18 and up cost 48.50 dollars and the whole thing kicks off on Thursday 30 October 2025 at 7pm at the Princess Theatre on 57 Brisbane Street in Launceston Tasmania 7250 Australia.
