Get ready to unleash your inner artist at the QVMAG x LNY25 Chinese Calligraphy Station. As part of our Lunar New Year festivities, we invite you to dive into the age-old art of writing those fancy Chinese characters that look like they mean something profound, even if you just copied them from a tutorial. You'll be channeling your inner Chinese scholar while trying not to spill ink all over yourself - we hear that's frowned upon.

All materials will be ready and waiting for you, so you can focus on having fun while warping your perception of what it means to have nice handwriting. There's no need for past calligraphy experience, and let's be honest, who needs it? Just bring your mates and a sense of adventure. The event is free, and you don't need to book anything – just show up and let the ink flow. So, come on down to the Queen Victoria Art Gallery at Royal Park and give it a whirl. It'll be a quirky way to start the New Year and possibly your new career as a calligrapher, or at the very least, a good tale to tell.
