Take a step back into the time when the Chinese were busy blending their traditions with Tasmanian vibes in the 1880s. Join QVMAG's very own curator, Jon Addison, as he takes you on a little jaunt through the Guan Di Temple. This will be like a history lesson, but with a lot less boredom and a lot more intriguing artifacts to gawk at.

In just 20 minutes, you'll uncover some of the untold tales from the Tasmanian Chinese diaspora. Honestly, who doesn't enjoy a bit of history mixed with a dash of culture? It's all happening on Saturday, 08 February 2025, from 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM at the Queen Victoria Art Gallery in Royal Park. It's free, but be warned, you'll need to register because spaces are as limited as a good pun.
