The Launceston Repair Cafe rolls around monthly as a free community gathering where folks fix up their stuff instead of sending it to landfill, pick up some repair tricks, and chat with neighbours. Got a household item thats on the blink, ripped, or otherwise knackered. Bring it over and team up with handy volunteers to sort it out.

They handle things like electronics, clothing, furniture, bikes, knife sharpening, and whatever else turns up, depending on whos around that day. Keep in mind its not a dropoff point, you have to roll up your sleeves and help with the fix. Optional donation if you feel like it. Its on Saturday 21 February 2026 from 1pm to 4pm at Pilgrim Church Hall, 34 Paterson St, Launceston 7250.
