Join QVMAG for a relaxed, hands on workshop inspired by David Hamilton's little bronze boats. After a wander through the Fragments and Artefacts exhibition for ideas and mild inspiration, move to the Learning Centre to make a Story Vessel, a small sculpture that carries a memory or tale from your life. Pick clay, wire or papier mâché and shape something personal, whether it ends up looking nautical or like a mysterious object only you can read.

The session is friendly and unhurried, suitable for complete beginners through to experienced artists, and a good chance to meet local people and swap stories while you get a bit messy. Free event.
