Get ready to flex those puzzling muscles at the second Tasmania State Jigsaw Puzzle Competition, brought to you by the folks at the Australian Jigsaw Puzzle Association. Whether you're a seasoned puzzler, the kind who could solve a Rubik's Cube while blindfolded, or a rookie still figuring out which piece goes where, there's a spot for you here. It's a grand gathering of puzzle enthusiasts who all share one thing in common: they love fiddling with oddly-shaped cardboard pieces.

There are two divisions to choose from, depending on whether you prefer to go solo or team up with friends. Go it alone with a 500-piece puzzle to conquer in 2.5 hours, or join forces with your mates for a 1000-piece challenge that packs a punch in just 2 hours. Everyone will be tackling the same puzzle (but don't worry, each division gets a different one, so no peeking). Prizes await the swiftest puzzlers, along with additional spot prizes and a raffle that could just brighten your day and your home. Just remember to bring your A-game, a little bit of patience, and maybe a snack or two—because let's face it, nothing fuels puzzling quite like a handful of chocolate.
