Join Ashley Bird, QVMAG Senior Curator of Visual Art and Design, as we explore the art of 3D modelling.

The rise of 3D printing has now enabled this technology to become widely accessible for a range of uses.

From large-scale sculptures or miniature replicas, through to textural prints and 3D concept renders, the use of 3D technology has found a permanent place in many industries, including the arts.

With many artists in Tasmania utilising this technology, this floor talk will explore the fusion of 3D printing and art making, alongside the future possibilities of this technology in the arts.
