Ever wanted to scuttle like a beetle or hover like a native bee? On Saturday 29 November 2025, local dancer Freyja Clark will run pop up movement and dance circles at the Queen Victoria Museum at Inveresk where kids and families can explore how different native bugs move. Expect beetle scuttles, bee flutters and a generous helping of antenna practice, all done through playful movement rather than actual metamorphosis.

The sessions run from 1.00pm to 3.00pm, are spontaneous and relaxed, and suit curious movers of all ages. The event is free and no bookings are required.
