Heads up, Launceston, if you've ever wondered how two blokes from Queens, New York, managed to go from singing for their supper to being arguably the most famous musical duo ever, then The Simon & Garfunkel Story might be your cup of tea. This show, which has apparently been quite the hit in over 50 countries (so it's probably not half bad), dives into their full saga. Think of it as a musical deep dive, starting way back when they were just Tom & Jerry, which sounds less like a groundbreaking music act and more like a Saturday morning cartoon with a very confused cat and mouse.

You'll get all the classic tunes and the inside scoop on what made them tick, right through to the inevitable dramatic split and their adventures as solo artists. And just for a grand finale, they'll whisk you away to that legendary 1981 Central Park reunion concert, without you having to battle any crowds or buy a dodgy hot dog. It's happening at the Princess Theatre in Launceston on Thursday 21 August 2025, kicking off at 7:00 PM. Tickets are 129 for A Reserve, 119 for A Reserve Concession, and 109 for B Reserve.
