The Launceston Youth Theatre Ensemble's Riverside Senior Company is presenting , a play featuring actors aged 14 to 19. It's an original romantic comedy by Artistic Director Mandy Gibson, and by the sound of it, Frank Burrows, the poor manager of a TV station, is having a truly awful week.
Frank's station is apparently in a spot of bother, with ratings plummeting and the staff constantly bickering. Add to that a new cleaner who seems to have a secret, and Frank accidentally getting a bit too close to the station owner's fiancee, and you've got a recipe for absolute chaos. If he thought things couldn't get any worse, he was sorely mistaken. This one is suitable for audiences 12 and over, as it does include some slightly colourful language and a few grown up themes. Tickets are 25 dollars for a full price admission, 20 dollars for concessions, and 17 dollars for students or children aged between 3 and 17. You can catch the show at the Earl Arts Centre, 10 Earl Street, Launceston. Performances are on Thursday 28 August 2025 at 7pm, Friday 29 August at 11am and 7pm, and Saturday 30 August at 1pm and 7pm.
