The third in a trio of Saturday performances brings violinist Suzanne Turner to the Queen Victoria Art Gallery at Royal Park on Saturday 11 October. Turner layers ambient soundscapes with lyrical violin lines and improvisational flourishes, her intuitive phrasing and delicate textures echoing the intimate, uncanny presence of Jinks' hyperreal sculptures. Picture a polite conversation between a violin and a statue, with the violin doing the small talk and the sculptures keeping their poker faces.

Free entry, but registration is via Eventbrite. The performance runs from 1.00pm to 4.00pm at Queen Victoria Art Gallery at Royal Park, 2 Wellington Street, Launceston.
