If youre around Launceston and fancy a night out that mixes fancy footwork with a bit of historical doom, check out Titanic The Ship of Dreams. Its a ballet take on that infamous 1912 voyage of the RMS Titanic, where they thought the ship was unsinkable until it wasnt. Expect some graceful dances set to moody tunes, plus clever visuals that whisk you from the high-society sparkle of the maiden trip to the sobering splash at the end. The dancers pull off the whole hope turns to heartbreak vibe with swanky outfits and a stage that feels like youre right there on deck, minus the actual icebergs thankfully.

Tickets go for twenty five bucks for adults, twenty for concessions or kids under sixteen. It kicks off at six pm on Saturday 22 November 2025 at the Princess Theatre on 57 Brisbane Street in Launceston, Tasmania, postcode 7250.
